Endorsement actions for governance of local environment

SUN EAGLE is a multi-years project to test the governance tools to the definition of local actions related to the implementation of the Kyoto Protocol, through participatory methods designed to combine global emission reduction targets with local targets for sus tain ability, favoring territorial vocations in the southern Italian Apennines. The project involves the participation of mountain communities and unions of municipalities, such as associated beneficiaries, in the spirit of demonstration of shared management models at European level.

SUN EAGLE aims to achieve the Kyoto targets, anticipating the adoption of tools developed in recent years in accounting and planning to reduce compensation, communication and development through economic incentives and market mechanisms related to the issue of reducing greenhouse gas emissions
